Humpty Dumpty saturday on the wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great autumn,
all the king's horses and all the rex's men
couldn't put Humpty together again.

Nosotros accept a total six poesy version of this popular nursery rhyme going in our house, yes I didn't realise either that in that location were and so many verses to it, simply it has to be one of our favourites – until recently it was always sung by me to J or T, simply in the final week the 2 of them have started to do rowing to each other and J will sing it to T with his on mix up of all the verses
Row, row, row, your boat gentle down the stream,
merrily merrily, merrily, merrily,

if yous see a lion don't forget to roar!Rock, rock, rock, your gunkhole gentle to and fro,
merrily merrily merrily merrily into the water you lot go!
Wheels on the Double-decker Words and Suggestions for other Verses
Another corking action nursery rhyme, nosotros tend to mix up the verses and have our ain have on a few but this is T's favourite – one of the starting time communications we had would be her sitting on my lap and grabbing my hands and moving them.
The wheels on the bus go round and round,
round and round, round and round,
the wheels on the bus get circular and round all mean solar day long! The children on the bus go up and down...
The doors on the double-decker go open and shut...
The wipers on the motorbus go classy swish swish

1000 Former Knuckles of York Lyrics to Sing with Tots
J has just started to march to this 1, when both were tiny I would sit them on my lap facing me and sing this with them lifting them into the air when the Duke marched them upwards and bring them back down. At present J is older we're starting to get him to march and stand up and kneel down at the right times.
The grand old knuckles of york
he had 10 thousand men,
he marched them up to the top of the loma
and he marched them down once againWhen they were up they were up,
and when they were down they were downwardly,
but when they were only one-half way up,
they were neither up nor down.
Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
I had sung this with J and T to try and get them to sleep every night since they were babies whilst nursing them, with J I can now stroke his pilus at bedtime and sing this and he volition drift off. Nosotros also sing this during the day with actions and this calendar week T has started to put her hands together to form a diamond, she has ever loved the up move in it.
Twinkle twinkle fiddling star,
how I wonder where you are?Upwardly in a higher place the world so high
like a diamond in the heaven.Twinkle twinkle trivial star
how I wonder where y'all are?

Old MacDonald Had a Farm
Or a zoo when you permit a 2 and a half year old cull the animals in the vocal specially now that T knows and will reply to the phrase "What noise does a Lion make" with "RARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR", nosotros frequently have crocodiles, monkeys, gorillas and even dinosaurs at Old MacDonald's farm but it's such a peachy rhyme and J and T love it for practising their animal noises.
Old MacDonald had a farm eye eye io,
and on that farm,
he had a moo-cow
eye centre io,
with a moo, moo here
and a moo, moo there,
hither a moo there a moo everywhere a moo, moo.
Former MacDonald had a subcontract centre middle io!
Incy Wincy Spider (Itsy Bitsy Spider)
Every bit immature babies, I would lie J or T on my lap or on the flooring in front of me and sing this song to them. As I sang my manus crawl up their legs and stomach and then pitter patter with my fingers for the rain. They would giggle away as the spider ran up their legs once again at the terminate. At present we move our easily together to brand the spider climbing up the spout.
Incy wincy spider climbed up the water spout,
down came the pelting and done the spider out,
out came the sunshine and stale up all the rain
and incy wincy spider climbed upwards the spout again!
I, Two, 3, Four, V
This has some slap-up mitt actions in it and really helps with counting. Information technology sends T into hysterics every fourth dimension. Especially when instead of biting her little finger the fish may bite her nose, toe or ear.
One two 3 four five
in one case I caught a fish live,
six seven eight ix x
then I allow him go over again! Why did you permit him go?
Because he fleck my finger and then!
Which finger did he bite?
This lilliputian finger on my right!
Zoom, Zoom, Zoom
This was J's favourite every bit a baby, early on toddler and ane of the reasons why I remember he counted backwards from 5 before he could count forrad! He loved being sent into infinite so much it was always met with either manus grabs for more or me existence told More than, MORE, More than
Zoom zoom zoom we're going to the moon,
zoom zoom zoom nosotros'll get in that location very soon,
5, four, three, 2, i,
blast off!
If yous want to join my trip hop aboard my rocket ship,
zoom zoom zoom were going to the moon.
Hey Diddle, Diddle
Rainy Day Dad sings this with J and T and will change the words to include our dog, the child's names and all sorts of strange and wonderful variations of it. J encourages him with more, more more.
Hey diddle diddle the cat and the fiddle,
the cow jumped over the moon,
the picayune dog laughed to see such fun
and the dish ran abroad with the spoon.
